You're Out of This World Mobile Phone Shaker Easel Card

I started by die cutting the phone from pearl card and the backing piece from plain white card.

I used the rocket and earth from Captain Awesome and the other planet from Alien Invasion to build up the scene. I then coloured the scene and the phone case with alcohol markers.

I fitted acetate behind the phone front then created a shaker using 3D foam tape to sandwich the pieces together with sequins inside.

I created an easel base and cut a second piece of card to cover the front. I covered this with a selection of patterned papers overlapping at an angle for interest. Leaving space for the phone I stamped the sentiment in white StazOn ink then attached the phone alongside.

Using the embossing folder and some off cuts of the patterned paper I decorated the front of the easel base and created a ledge to support the easel.

I attached the design piece to the easel and finished the card off with a sprinkling of sequins.

You Rock Mobile Phone Shaker Card

I embossed a square white card base with the bricks folder which didn't cover the whole front then used the crackle folder to finish it off.

I dragged my beige and tan ink pads lightly across the raised areas to highlight them.

I stamped a selection of positive words on the bricks to create a graffiti look.

To complete the sentiment I stamped You Rock and the chain which I cut out and attached down the left between the stamped words.

I die cut the mobile phone from pearl card which I coloured with an alcohol marker and filled the screen with acetate. I applied 3D foam tape leaving no gaps and ran an anti static tool along the inner edges so they weren't sticky. I then filled the phone with a selection of black sequins and a couple of spiders.

I cut white card to fit the back and stamped the design inside using more of the Max Rocks stamps and some of the mobile phone stamps. I fixed it to the back of the phone sealing in the sequins to create the shaker element.

I attached the phone at an angle to the right then accented the card with some strategic sequins including a spider and web. I drew his thread with a silver glitter gel pen.

Life Is What You Make It Mobile Phone Shaker Card

I die cut the mobile phone from pearl card and coloured it with an alcohol marker, then cut the background area from plain white card and stamped the butterfly repeatedly with memento ink in shades of pinks and purples.

I took a piece of acetate that filled the screen area and stamped "Life is what you make it" with black StazOn ink.

I backed the phone front with 3D foam strips leaving no gaps and ran round the inside with a powder tool to prevent my selection of small lilac and bright pink sequins from sticking.

I enclosed them by attaching the background piece to the foam tape; this creates your shaker element.

For the card I took a plain white card base which I embossed. I ran the lower 2/3 through with the butterfly folder first then overlapping with the sewing folder at top.

To highlight the effect I dragged my ink pads lightly over the top graduating from pastel pink to pale lilac.

I affixed the phone at a slight angle and trimmed with a few sequins.
